David Ervin

Learning to play piano from the age of five, David found his formative years firmly rooted in different musical traditions including jazz, soul, blues, latin and classical. After garnering numerous gold and platinum albums over the course of a decade, David returned to live improvisational performances. Ervin gives a unique reflection and chronicle of traditional American music at it's best! David is now composing new music to reflect the current feelings surrounding his life and the emotions of life, loss, joy, pain, and most important element for transformation...love.

Ervin’s recording credits include hit albums by: Tina Turner, Natalie Cole, Phyllis Hyman, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Jermaine Jackson, and Michael Jackson. David's songwriting credits include songs recorded by Bobby"blue" Bland and Bobby Womack.
