Learning to play piano at the age of five, David found his formative years firmly rooted in different musical traditions including jazz, soul, blues, latin and classical. After garnering numerous gold and platinum albums over the course of a decade, David returned to live improvisational performances. Ervin gives a unique reflection and chronicle of traditional American music at it's best!
